At present, it basically uses 45mA current drive capability, such as MBI5024 and CYT62726. The main reason for the decrease in current drive capability is that the luminous intensity of LED devices is getting higher and higher. In order to improve image quality, more and more static screen designs are used, and the demand for drive current capability is reduced. From the perspective of IC cost, the chip size can be reduced, thereby reducing the cost. For this reason, the 25mA static screen driver chip CYT62727 is designed.
At present, 80% of the world’s LED screens are purchased and produced in mainland China, and 16-channel constant current device designs are generally adopted. This will continue in the short term and will not disappear in the next 5 years. The main reason is that the supporting control technology is mature and the products Has been serialized, unless the system control technology and chip drive design have a huge leap, and the cost is further reduced, the status quo will not change. In recent years, many companies have continuously introduced new structures, which will be recognized by the market in the future. The biggest problem is through the control technology, if the color consistency of the LED is changed.
There are still many areas where technology is lacking in our country. The government's strong support for Shenzhen LED display companies has enabled many indoor LED display manufacturers to actively invest in technology research and development.
